Llangorse Lake

Llangorse Lake is set in the heart of the beautiful Brecon Beacons.
The lake is very popular with pike anglers but has a wide range of coarse species. Pike are taken on lures and dead baits.
There is ample parking and a concrete slipway. When the weather is good Llangorse is one of the nicest venues to fish but be aware with the beauty comes some xtremes of weather too so check the forecast before travelling far.
Day tickets can be purchase from Lakeside Caravan and Camping Park .  Launch costs £1.50 and fishing is £7 from Reception.
There are caravans and camping pitches for hire so a weekend is recommended.
The lake is a Site Of Special Scientific Interest so access to the banks is restricted. Please respect this!

Every Spring South Wales Kayak Anglers organise a very well attended and friendly Species Hunt at Llangorse. Give it a try.

Lakeside staff are really helpful and friendly check out their site HERE You are assured a warm welcome.

Llangorse also hosts a major kayak fishing event every Spring organise by South Wales Kayak Anglers.
